Description

Variable Frequency Drive (VFD):

A VFD controls the speed and torque of the conveyor motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor. It provides smooth start/stop, energy savings, and precise speed control.

Soft Starter:

A Soft Starter gradually increases the voltage during motor startup, resulting in reduced inrush current and mechanical stress. It is used when only soft start and stop are needed, but not speed control.
