Description

A Jockey Pump Controller is a precision control panel designed to automatically start and stop a jockey pump in a fire protection system. It maintains constant pressure in the system by responding to minor pressure drops, preventing unnecessary operation of the main fire pump. The controller typically uses a pressure switch or sensor input to operate the pump and includes built-in safety, status, and manual override features.

It is a critical component in NFPA-compliant fire systems and helps prolong the lifespan of main fire pumps by minimizing start-stop cycles.
